Kayla Byington

Director of UX Engagement

at Visual Logic since 2010

Kayla brings a steady, thoughtful approach to helping teams make sense of complex challenges. She partners closely with clients and teammates to shape strategy, guide decisions, and keep work moving forward. She’s known for asking the practical questions that help turn big ideas into solutions teams can actually build—and users can actually use.

A natural synthesizer, Kayla is great at balancing the small-but-important details with the bigger picture. She’s often the one connecting dots, clarifying priorities, and helping everyone get aligned. While this sometimes earns her the title of “fun-hater” in a group of generators, she embraces it—because great user experiences come from clarity, not chaos.

Kayla balances her work life with raising two young, energetic kids, which has only sharpened her skills in communication, prioritization, and adaptability. When she’s not coaching t-ball or watching games, she enjoys pilates, experimenting with sourdough, and using power tools to renovate her home (usually to her husband’s dismay).
